How it all started

The story of The Relevance Group is a journey of vision, collaboration, and a relentless drive for meaningful customer connections.

From his early days, Andreas Hannemann, our founder, believed that data could do more than just fill spreadsheets – it could transform businesses. His passion for sports offered a fitting metaphor for his approach: a team working together, each player knowing their strengths, striving towards a common goal.

In 2012, with a clear vision and a small team, Andreas and his co-founder Peter-Joachim Fiegel breathed life into what would become Datalogue. Operating from a modest office space, the team shared a single mission: to bridge the gap between data and actionable insights. It was here that the groundwork for The Relevance Group was laid, focusing not just on numbers but on understanding people.

Their philosophy was simple yet profound: "Marketing and sales have too many channels, yet they miss the mark because the content isn't relevant." Their approach was about precision – targeting the right audience with the right message on the right channel. This philosophy resonated with clients, and word spread. Without flashy advertising, Datalogue grew through word-of-mouth, testament to its impactful results.

Founding of The Relevance Group

In May 2022, The Relevance Group was born when Ufenau Capital Partners acquired Datalogue GmbH. Founded in 2012, Datalogue had already made its mark by transforming data into actionable insights. Now, as the heart of TRG, it continues to drive the vision of connecting data to meaningful customer relationships.
This milestone was just the beginning. TRG started assembling a growing network of partner companies, combining expertise in technology, marketing, and data to provide seamless, end-to-end solutions. With a clear mission to help businesses thrive in a fast-changing world, TRG empowers clients by turning data into measurable growth and deeper customer connections.

Welcome DataLab GmbH

In April 2023, DataLab GmbH (est. 2011) joined The Relevance Group, enhancing our expertise in Customer Equity.
